Gia has a 12 year experience in heliski guiding in Gudauri. He is a very experienced mountain guide and is well know around the world for guiding mountain climbers to Kazbek (5047 m), Ushba (4710 m) and other mountains in Svaneti and Kazbegi regions. Gia regularly donates his time to mountain rescues all over Georgia. Gia is a ski and mountain guide certified by the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA, Switzerland) and the Georgian State School of Mountain Guides. He is a Master of Sports in mountain climbing and was the youngest mountain climber in USSR at the age of 14.

In winter, Gia regularly gives ski lessons to experienced skiers and riders as well as to beginners. In summer he continues to guide mountain climbers to his favourite peaks, which are some of the highest in Europe and in the world.

Nana is Gia's right hand woman. She looks after guests as if they are her own family.

Nana gained her experience in the hotel business whilst working at Gudauri Sport Hotel Club (previously called Marco Polo) for 12 years.
